A turnover combines cleaning with a reset for the next guest. Check the property first, deal with linen, clean each room, restock, then carry out a final inspection. Use this planning sheet alongside your property's instructions; it is not a confirmed Candour service specification.
Airbnb's host ground rules include cleaning between stays. Check its current requirements for your listing and use the platform's own process for damage issues.

Restock and handover
| Check | Record |
|---|---|
| Toilet roll and toiletries | What was replenished and what needs ordering |
| Kitchen supplies | Items included in the listing and remaining stock |
| Linen and towels | Clean stock, laundry sent out and missing or damaged items |
| Damage or maintenance | Room, issue, photo reference and who was informed |
| Final inspection | Completion time and any unresolved issue affecting check-in |
Photograph the finished rooms from consistent positions, then add close-ups where useful. A final photo is a record, not a substitute for checking the work.
Plan the laundry separately
A useful planning option is three linen sets per bed: one in use, one being washed and one spare. For two beds, that is six sets. This is a suggested stock arrangement, not an Airbnb rule. Adjust it for drying time, laundry collection, occupancy and storage.
Don't assume laundry can finish during a tight same-day changeover. Confirm who washes, dries, irons and replaces it, and whether those tasks are priced separately.
How much time and money should you allow?
Ask for a property-specific quote and schedule. Guest count, number of beds and bathrooms, laundry, access and the condition after departure all matter. A national headline price cannot establish what a particular Sussex turnover will cost.
Candour's holiday-let service is currently an enquiry: describe the property, check-out/check-in times, linen requirements and frequency. The price, scope and availability are confirmed before you book. We do not promise same-day cover or a backup arrangement that has not been agreed.

Local and property requirements
Check planning, fire, gas, electrical, insurance and other obligations for your particular accommodation. A cleaning checklist is not a compliance inspection. Brighton & Hove's holiday-let guidance and GOV.UK's holiday-home guidance are starting points; check the current rules before acting.
For hard-water marks, use the surface-safe limescale guide, rather than increasing acid strength to meet a check-in deadline.
